At a glance

The 2020 Transition PATROL ALLOY GX is an Enduro Aluminium / Alloy mountain bike. It comes in a range of sizes, including XS, SM, MD, LG, XL, has Fox suspension and a SRAM drivetrain. The bike is part of Transition's PATROL range of mountain bikes.

The Patrol Alloy GX is the workhorse in our lineup focusing on performance and maximum durability. We tailored the build to give the rider the best possible brakes and suspension for the money in a value oriented package. Fox suspension heads up the build with the Factory DHX2 2-position rear shock that gives you four way adjustment and an on the fly lockout lever. Up front the Fox Float 36 Performance fork offers top of the line suspension feel with an easy to setup sweep lever for compression adjustment. Braking is handled by our favorite four piston skid triggers the SRAM Code RSC with reach and contact adjust along with 200mm front and 180mm rear rotors.

The drivetrain is a complete GX Eagle setup with a massive 10-50 tooth gear range and durable alloy crankset. Top of the line Maxxis Minion 3C tires are mounted to Stan’s Flow S1 wheelset, the benchmark for strength and value in the same package. The dropper post is the durable Bike Yoke Revive seatpost with a user friendly reset feature which ensures your bike can stay out of the shop and out on the trail instead. We are now including tubeless valves and 6ozs of Stan’s Sealant for easy tubeless setup from the start.
