  1. I got this bike for half price as a warehouse closeout in 2010. It’s the most beautiful bike I’ve ever seen and it’s as much a joy to ride as it is to behold.

I’ve ridden it stock for years, but I have recently started to upgrade some parts. I wrapped the stock rims with tubeless tape and installed some heavy Maxxis 2.3″ tubeless tires. Upgraded to some 710mm carbon bars for some added comfort.

This thing still rides like a dream. The only downside is the proprietary shock can’t really be serviced unless you know what you’re doing. Risse Racing in Bend, OR does a fine job on the rebuilds though. I’m gonna ride this thing until the shock breaks and can’t be fixed.
