The bike is part of Norco's Torrent HT Steel range of mountain bikes.Using Norco’s holistic approach to fit and geometry, the Torrent 1’s unique combination of our next generation of Gravity Tune, longer reach, slacker head tube angle and steep seat tube angle provides a more for-ward weight distribution within a longer wheelbase. This allows more powerful pedaling, increased climbing traction and added grip and control when descending. To go along with the basic theme of the butted chromoly frame, we spec’d the Torrent 1 with a SRAM GX/NX 12-speed drivetrain. We also gave it some real big bike credibility with a 150mm RockShox Lyrik Ultimate RC2 fork, a burly SRAM DUB crankset, and robust 4 piston Code R brakes.
